⸻ ABDUL BAAGHIL

LIFESTYLE DESTINATION STRATEGIC ADVISORY

**Luxury is not a product, It is a sense of belonging.**

Abdul Baaghil advises developers, family offices, and investors on the strategic creation and positioning of luxury lifestyle destinations where hospitality, culture, wellness, residential living, retail, and commercial intelligence come together as one ecosystem.

“The greatest destinations are those that could only exist where they are.”

His work sits upstream, before design, branding, and operational decisions become fixed. The focus is on defining the identity, positioning, experience, and commercial logic of a destination so that every element works together rather than as a collection of disconnected components.

Across more than three decades in luxury hospitality and four continents, Abdul has operated and advised across hotels, restaurants, mixed-use developments, and lifestyle destinations. Today, his focus is on helping owners create destinations that people choose not only to visit, but to belong to.

CAVALARIÇA & COMPORTA VILLAGE

Portugal

Cavalariça was conceived within a restored horse stable, directly connecting the restaurant to one of Comporta’s defining cultural identities its equestrian heritage.

The concept was deliberately rooted in the place rather than imported into it, preserving the original architecture and drawing on Comporta’s blue-and-white visual language, local farmers and producers, Portuguese winemakers, equestrian culture, and understated way of life to create a restaurant that felt inherently part of the destination.

Through Cavalariça, Abdul’s involvement extended beyond the restaurant itself. The concept helped strengthen and express Comporta’s existing DNA, connecting its food, wine, architecture, equestrian heritage, local suppliers, and lifestyle into a coherent hospitality experience.

Strategic relationships with luxury travel advisors, international travel publications, and the wider travel community helped position Cavalariça as a point of discovery within Comporta, encouraging visitors to experience not only the restaurant but the wider village and destination.

The objective was never to create a destination identity from scratch, but to protect what made Comporta distinctive and amplify it internationally without losing its authenticity.

Cavalariça has since received recognition from the Michelin Guide, further establishing its place within Comporta’s evolving international profile.

Petite Source by Piscinelle is a contemporary wellness and outdoor living brand exploring the intersection of water, hospitality, and lifestyle experiences.

Abdul was appointed Strategic Hospitality Advisor to support the brand’s expansion into luxury hotels, resorts, and lifestyle destinations.

His mandate focuses on defining how Petite Source’s prefabricated pools and outdoor living concepts can be thoughtfully integrated into hospitality environments to enhance guest experiences and create complementary revenue opportunities.

The vision extends beyond the traditional pool experience, positioning water, wellness, and outdoor living as central components of modern luxury hospitality and destination placemaking.

Petite Source has demonstrated this approach through its activation at The Hoxton Paris, where a Petite Source installation transformed the courtyard into a seasonal lifestyle experience complemented by Champagne, cocktails, and French small bites — illustrating the potential for hospitality, wellness, and experiential programming to coexist within one environment.

THE PRINCIPLE

The best lifestyle destinations are not collections of amenities.

They are ecosystems where place, culture, hospitality, residential living, wellness, food, retail, and commercial intelligence reinforce one another.

Abdul Baaghil works at the point where these elements come together — defining the strategic idea before the project becomes fixed in design, branding, or operations.

The objective is simple:

Create destinations with a reason to exist, a reason to return, and a commercial model that can endure.

Hospitality. Culture. Luxury. Commercial Intelligence.

One Vision. One Strategy. One Ecosystem.
